Coffee, Chocolate & Vanilla - Big Island
You'll begin your day with a visit to Holualoa Kona Coffee Company, where you will see the process of coffee production from seed to cup, with samplings. Next it’s on to the Original Hawaiian Chocolate Factory, where you will visit the farm and experience the process of chocolate production from seed to bar. Finally, you will visit the Hawaiian Vanilla Company. Did you know that Benjamin Franklin introduced vanilla to America? You will get an in-depth look at how vanilla is grown, and enjoy the Hawaiian Vanilla Experience Luncheon.

Surfing Goats, Wine & Lavender - Maui
Today you will visit a variety of Maui farms gaining a greater appreciation of the variety of agricultural production on the island of Maui. Your first stop is the Surfing Goats Dairy on the beautiful slopes of Haleakala where you will tour and sample some exquisite cheeses. Continuing along the slopes of Haleakala, you will visit Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm, where you will find 55,000 lavender plants and 45 different varieties of lavender, olive trees, hydrangea and protea blooming on 10.5 acres.

Next, you will visit and tour Tedeschi Winery, Maui’s only commercial winery. You will tour the winery and enjoy a wine tasting. Finally you’ll enjoy a lunch of Hawaii regional cuisine at Hali'imaile General Store, a refurbished plantation store which is consistently rated one of Maui's best restaurants.

O'o Farm – From Farm to Table
From the top of Haleakala you will depart to O’o Farm where you will enjoy a unique extension of the island experience incorporating sweeping panoramic views, natural wildlife and gourmet food – all in the cool mountain air “al fresco” style. Your journey begins with a guided tour where you will learn about natural farming which is to emulate nature’s virtue of balance, harmony and self regulation. Through this you will gain a deeper understanding of the way ancient farmers did it: by relying on nature’s method of maintaining balance. While touring this farm you will be able to participate in the harvesting.

When finished and everyone has worked up a good appetite you will move to the outdoor kitchen where you get to meet with the Chef who is always happy to answer any and all Culinary questions. From the kitchen it’s off to the picnic grounds to enjoy the culinary creations created from the bounty of your harvest, complimented with fresh caught local fish of the day. Enjoy the superb cooking as you feast your eyes on the Napa Valley, a beautiful setting equaled by none.
